What has Escape been able to find out or do about the Maxxair fans problems with humidity and voltage from solar systems shorting out its motherboard? Is there any plan to find a substitution for them?

What has Escape been able find out or do about the issues Maxxair Fans have had with their motherboards (not handling moisture/humidity and too much voltage from solar systems)?

Is there any plan to find a substitute?

    Thanks Harrison, Karl and Samuel

I've been following the Escape Forum and videos while waiting for my trailer to be configured and have been so impressed about the management team's drive towards improvement and innovation. Also, Escape company's customer centered approach is very assuring, as reflected in the high number of people ordering Escape trailers sight unseen. The trailer's outward and inner appearance is very solid, classic, traditional, but not particularly modern. I'm very excited, then, to know that Escape is continually incorporating modern technologies which will place it ahead of other RV manufacturers. Along those lines, I'm looking forward to know the progress of incorporating mini-splits, aluminum frame, and higher capacity solar/battery systems. BTW, any chance roof solar panels can be mounted without holes? Is Escape considering a true four seasons trailer?

Our 21C will be entering production soon. We ordered the full offgrid-power package with the Solar Port. Assuming I have the correct details for the solar charge controller, it seems the total solar input should not exceed 570W (equivalent to three 190W rigid GoPower panels). The two solar panels on the roof amount to 380W maximum, which leaves 190W space available that can be connected to the solar port. The max wattage GoPower portable panel is a 200W panels and come with their own charge controller on the panel which would need to be deleted due to the already existing solar charge controller in the trailer. So... Is GoPower allowing for wattage loss in their system in general and are OK with their own portable 200W panel for the Solar Port? It would push the total to 580W instead of 570W? 10W sounds like it does not matter but in my experience these details can break a system. We could go with the 130W portable GoPower panel but want to squeeze as much wattage out of the system as possible and always stay with the manufacturer's recommendations. Thank you!

Will a standing deposit for another model allow one the option to switch to a E23 production slot, if the E23 materializes within the lead time of the original trailer build? That is my hope for my deposit. Thank you!

What's the status of the new production line in Texas? Can we get our trailer any sooner? Thanks. Vin

As a follow up, a while ago you spoke of possibly establishing ”maintenance hubs” across the US (at around the same time you mentioned standing up a new production facility in the US as well). This initiative was obviously, and understandably, impacted by the pandemic. Can you please provide an update? Thank you - John & Tricia Smith

I am interested in the new option sheet tool which you’ve mentioned.

Will the tool also replace the “Build your Escape“ page for the general public? Knowing weights will be very useful during that stage.

Any updated timeframe for making that tool available?

Thanks and really appreciate how you are adapting during these difficult weather and illness times.

If you order both tv options (cable and antenna) with an outlet at the bed and dinette, should the antenna be routed to both locations? On our recent 21C delivery, the antenna booster is at the rear dinette, but the cable connection at the bed does not go through the antenna booster. Is this a normal installation? Most antenna boosters in trailers are installed such they will feed all cable outlets. This isn’t the case with ours. The cable connection at the bed is strictly a park cable connection. Thank you!

For those travelling across the country to pick up their trailer and trying to plan an epic camping trip around it: How much can we rely upon the accuracy of the guaranteed completion date? (Understanding that the pandemic and natural disasters are out of everyone's control)

We have a follow up for the delivery part of the equation. We understand that working out delivery logistics with a third party provider makes a guaranteed delivery time impractical, but for the Escape buyer trying to plan ahead for campsites 1,700 miles away (an absolute MUST for National Parks like Yellowstone and Grand Teton), knowing that Escape will try everything humanly possible to get our trailer to us on or very close to the requested delivery/pick up date would be greatly appreciated. Can you please give us your thoughts on this conundrum? Thank you - John & Tricia Smith
