I want to acknowledge and thank everyone at Escape who answer customer questions and contribute to the video content on your YouTube channel (both in front of and behind the camera). My husband and I really look forward to your monthly video Q&A's while we wait for our trailer to be built. 😊
I see Suburban offers wall mount controllers for the water heater to turn on and off both the propane and the electric heating element. Can we have this as an option? I normally do not keep my electric element on and only turn it on when I know I will need hot water like when we prepare a meal and need to do dishes. I don't want to go outside each end every time I want to turn it on or off. Also, I want to be able to see the switch from the inside to make it easy to verify I remembered to turn it back off when done. My current trailer has the AC switch on an inside panel which makes it easy to use the electric option.
Here's another item for the "Easter Egg List": For customers looking at the Lagun table option, would it be possible to fortify the trailer shell at the kitchen counter wall in order to add another Lagun mounting bracket on the patio side exterior; perhaps next to the optional exterior shower hatch? Is the exterior wall straight enough to even make it a possibility? (5.0 specific)
Many options offered like Foot Flush toilet, the feature is easier for mobility challenged folks. On that line of thinking why isn’t a larger or swing-away front door entry handle offered, like other Fiberglass RV companies? Thank you, Diova & Sue
My current trailer has a second AC plug outside that is controlled by a rocker switch inside. It is next to the awning support so you can run a cord up the support for awning lights. Or you can run a cord someplace else for lights as well. It is nice to be able to turn those lights off from inside when going to bed. Is that something you could do?
I was wondering if you would consider installing a black water tank that was made out of a white opaque plastic. My current stick built trailer has this now. I find it really convenient because it lets daylight shine into the tank through the tank walls. This lets me actually see down into the tank through the toilet to see what is going on in the tank. I can see how clear the water is, how full it is, and get an idea how clean it is. Every time I dump I pour a couple buckets of water down and watch to see if it looks clean. If I see a lot of stuff floating past, I keep dumping water down the toilet. Also, having the foot flush toilet makes it easier to dump the buckets of water.
Now that the Pre-Owned Trailers advertisement system has changed, do you still maintain a list of potential buyers for given models, which list is sent to the seller of that model when one is listed? Or is the onus now on prospective buyers to communicate with a seller in response to a new listing? Thank you.
We are coming up on 6 months out from our completion date. Will Escape reach out to us when it's time to start working with our sales person or should we reach out to them? And last I heard it was recommended to start the process at 6 months out from completion date. Is that still the recommended timeframe?
First question, My wife and I currently own a Stick built Travel Trailer and it has a 10 cu ft compressor fridge that we love. Is there any plans to offer a bigger compressor fridge in any of your line up? IF not why?
Second, we live in Nova Scotia. While we hope to come to Escape to pick up our trailer when we order it, we realize this may not be possible. Is there any plan to have standard shipping points in Canada like you have done in the USA?
Final question, for the Maple option of cabinetry. Will the Maple cabinet doors darken to match the luan cabinet finish over time? They look lighter in the videos.
On the Easter egg list it talks about extending back seat of u-shaped dinette in the 5.0.
I would love to see side by side comparison of an extended one to a normal one to see the overall appearance and how systems fit in reconfigured seat areas.
Is there a way to get AGM batteries put in my trailer when it is being built?

Where is the "The Easter Egg List"? I can't find it on the Escape website.

Any updates on battery options? You teased us in a previous video, indicating there was an announcement coming about batteries in Q4.
thanks!
Any updates on the timeline for the E23?

PS Harrison has been wonderful and very helpful!
As a follow up to Denis' question; does the size of the table change with an extended back seat, and if so, from what to what dimensions?
On the Easter egg list it talks about extending back seat of u-shaped dinette in the 5.0.
