I just put down a deposit on a 5.0 last week. I have been watching the videos and see something about the 5.0 that really concerns me. The propane is stored inside the shell of the trailer. That seems like a big no-no. I have always seen propane compartments with a false bottom so that any leaked propane will just fall out. I am worried about safety the most, but also possible odors from the propane getting into the trailer. I have an idea. Can you line the propane storage like you do a wet-bath and put some drains out the bottom of the trailer to let any escaped propane find its way out?

Hi Joel,
Thank you for reaching out. Great question! Our engineer responded to this and I will paste his answer here:
The propane bottle is stored in a plywood box that has been sealed with fiberglass at the seams. The sides of the box contain two plywood panels that are sealed with a gasket. There is a vent in the bottom of the box.
We look forward to building your Escape 5.0. Feel free to let me know if you have any additional questions sales@escapetrailer.com
Kind regards
Samuel
