Do you have a recommendation or an option for installing a cell phone booster and/or a Wi-Fi booster?

    Hi David,

Escape does not have any official recommendations for Cell Phone Boosters. This would be an excellent question for the General Discussion portion of the forum.

Because I haven't picked up our 5.0 yet (one more month) I can't really say from experience but I did do a fair amount of research on this topic before we signed off on our build. Despite it's higher cost I ended up choosing the weBoost RV 65 for several reasons. It is a "stationary" setup so can't use it when driving but I felt like the advantages of pulling in weaker signals to amplify was the deciding factor and if I wanted a "while traveling" booster I would be adding that into our tow vehicle as a separate element. Although the outside pickup antenna is more "directional" the inside rebroadcast antenna has a broader and stronger signal output. I am having ETI run wiring to two outside locations on the trailer. One to where the normal TV coax goes on the drivers side "front" and the second to the rear of the trailer also closest to the drivers side. I purchased and am having them install one single and one double SmartPlug coax inlets (see links below) in the specified locations. This will allow me to position the antenna pole in the best location to receive a weak signal. The termination point of the coax lines will be inside the upper cabinet to the right of the doorway (we chose the full height cabinet option) into a 3 port keystone coax plate (cable TV line, front of trailer cell booster line, rear of trailer cell booster line). We're also having duplex and 12V outlets installed inside that same cabinet to allow us to power anything we might want inside there (i.e. weBoost amplifier, TV power, Apple TV, etc). Hope this helps.
