If we add the full height cabinet next to the door in the 5.0 TA, where would the optional stereo be located? Also, is the mirrored door (which we like) a standard feature of this cabinet? Thank you.

Hi all, there are some great answers here! The stereo will be relocated to the location shown by @David Murphy.
The mirrored cabinet is not standard. Please see the following timestamped link for a comparison between the full height cabinet and the standard arrangement: https://youtu.be/cLbe-VT4KDM?t=2969
It looks good. There's so much to consider. We hope to join Escape's virtual rally for new customers to get some more insight on the build. I believe it will follow the owner's rally which is on the horizon.
That was not an option at the time we had ours built. Having the TV mounted there works great, it can be flipped around to watch from bed or from the dining room.
Thanks Dave. I wondered if that might be an alternate location. I notice that you don't have the mirror on your cabinet door. Did you opt out of a mirrored door or was it not offered at the time of your build?
P.S. I agree with gjsheldon ... Looking forward to 'chilling' (nice sandals) in our north-south queen, with multiple views, instead of staring at a sloping wall in a double bed. It's just a l-o-n-g-e-r wait for us.😉
Looking forward to being able to take that shot myself 😀
This isn't a great pic but the only one I have showing the stereo, it is the black box mounted on the underside of the upper cabinet at the foot of the bed. There is a piece of black felt hanging on the front of it - we did that as a light shield so the lights on the panel (even when it is off) don't bother us when we are sleeping. The cable/antenna connection and power outlet are on the side wall just above the stereo. We have a 12 volt TV, great for boondocking - but you need to have a 12 volt outlet added for that.
Wow! You do have a lot going on inside that cabinet. We were just looking at it for storage of bed linens, toiletries and bath towels. But I do like your idea of tucking the electronics out of sight. We’re just fledgelings at this customization process, having just made our deposit with Escape. There are so many decisions to make with seemingly plenty of time … However, I’ve come to realize that time flies by much faster than we think. Thank you for the inspiration and all the best with your upcoming build.
We have actually ordered the full height cabinet on our 5.0 to be picked in August. I am having them reinforce the entry door side of that cabinet to support a TV mount and install inside a reinforced shelf about 15" down from the top. The stereo will be installed on the underside of that shelf inside the cabinet. I am also having them move the TV coax and duplex outlet that are normally on the bedroom overhead cabinet to the inside of that cabinet, above the shelf on the common wall of the full-height and bedroom overhead cabinets. In addition, they are adding a 12V outlet and 2 additional coax lines that terminate on a coax plate for our WeBoost cell amplifier inside that cabinet. I sent them a 3 port coax keystone plate for the 3 coax lines to terminate into a single gang plate. Lots going on inside that cabinet but I wanted it all tucked away. I plan to mount the TV on a swing arm that will allow it to be viewed from either the dining room or bedroom with all the wiring inside the cabinet. There will also be an Apple TV and DVD player inside the cabinet.
