    Propane quick connect

    in Build Your Trailer

We have a Coleman grill that uses 1 lb propane cylinders. We found a conversion kit to use the trailer's onboard propane quick connect. The conversion kit indicates that it is compatible with a trailer equipped with a 1/4" gas flow disconnect. Does the propane quick connect mounted on an Escape fit this description? Thank you.

Laurie, I asked this same question of Linda at Escape. She kindly provided me with this answer:

The propane hose that comes with the quick connect has a male quick connect on one end (Obviously!) and it has a 3/8" female flare fitting on the other end. We also include a fitting that will reduce that down to 1/4" FPT if required.

It should be possible to get the connector without our hose but, just let me look into this for you.
