    Email Following Deposit

    in Discover Escape

    Hello. After much thought and research, I placed a deposit on an Escape 5.0 on Sunday, May 8, 2022. I received the automated email confirmation. That email said, "One of our team members will reach out to you by email within 5 business days." "Within 5 business days" is bolded and italicized. I did not receive any follow-up email, but have learned others generally receive such emails with 2 business days. Normally, I would not be concerned, but given the automated email I received and others' experiences, it causes me to wonder if my Sunday deposit was missed. I wrote to the Escape accounting department on May 13th to confirm the deposit is in the queue, but have not received a response. I know the anticipated production is pretty far out, but if the 5 business days doesn't really mean 5 business days, it may be best to remove that assurance from the automated email. Thank you.

    Dear Robert, thank you for your order and the follow up email and post. We have sent you the welcome email today. We had vacation absence which delayed the welcome email. We have changed the automated email to mention 5-10 business days going forward. Thank you again for your message and my apologies for the delay and concern caused.
