Hi, Our 1 1/2 year old 17B has started "beeping" while sitting in the yard. It's been 6 weeks since we used it and it just started doing this late last week. The sound is coming from the left of the door (while standing outside). It is much louder outside than inside the trailer. I took the top vent off but can't see anything to cause the sound. The microwave is above the fridge so it would seem to be one of them. The fridge is off, and the door is open when we're not using it.
Couple of other notes: we had our stove top replaced on warranty - great service by a local dealer who received the replacement quickly. One disappointing thing was that they were told they requireded our stove's SN (even though a 17B which has an unavailable SN), and when the service people relayed the message they told me the top should just "pop up" and out, and I could then get the SN. With a glazier pry bar and a lot of pressure it did indeed "pop out", breaking a couple of the plastic hold downs that I wan't familiar with. The disappointing part was that we'd been told that the replacement people wouldn't require existing stove top SN's (I'd already sent them our trailer SN and model, etc) and the extra back and forth for the local dealer (Morry's Trailer Sales) who we didn't know. The stove top was replaced in minutes, I was charged $20. I went back later and gave the lady in the office another $20 for all of her trouble and efforts on our behalf. I'm not asking you for any reimbursement, just wanted to share a great success story with a completely unknown local business!
The other note is that our fridge "face" or "cover" keeps falling off. I think I have it figured out, finally, but there is only one clip with which to keep it in place. It needs many more. Morry Trailer's had nothing that size and suggested I contact you. I can't find where it says the fridge is Dometic but the top and bottom exterior vents behind it are Dometic. If I could get some of the clips to hold the front decor panel on the fridge it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sandy (Alexander) Bunker
