From our deposit date, 10/06/2020, to Build Sheet Signoff Date, May 31, 2021, seemed an endless winter of planning, dreaming, watching YouTube videos, and changing our minds about configuration over and over. Now the summer is flying by, we are at peace with our final choices, and on or near September 21, 2021 we will meet our 5.0 Wild Blue Wander in Sumas. Anticipation!

No problem at all. We enjoyed our brief visit and were glad to be able to both show off our new 5.0 and help you clarify some of your questions by seeing the "real deal".
Unfortunately, after our Colter Bay trip we have not been able to really use it much due to my work schedule and the early change of seasons. Our "campground" property is at 9000' elevation and by mid-September the nights were sub-freezing so we elected to winterize and store it until next year. We are just beginning to plan for our 2022 trips.
Hope to cross paths with you again in the future.

Dear Gary and Jodi,
Thank you so much for stopping on your way to Colter Bay last summer to show us your 5.0. It was very generous of you to take the time to stop. I hope you had a wonderful time with your family, enjoying your beautiful new trailer! I know I typed a reply at some point, but it seems to have been lost in the ethernet.
We picked up our own lovely trailer on September 29, and spent three weeks in it exploring the Olympic Peninsula and the Columbia River Gorge. It exceeded our expectations in every way. I miss sleeping in it, now that we've winterized it for the season, but we've proudly given tours to our friends and family.
It's sad to see the flooding in Sumas and BC. We spent two nights at Oostema Farmstead in Lynden, and can't imagine what that beautiful farmland around there looks like in that much water.
Here's to more adventures! Thanks again!
Julie and Dick
Just posted our 5.0 build photos here.

P.S. We lived in Rawlins WY a short time in the 70’s, and also near South Pass City where Chris had a detail to preserve old buildings. We remember those days fondly. We hope to head up your way Julie and Dick, on our way to Glacier NP, and maybe see the little beaver pond we stayed near (in a Gov’t Airstream) at the time. That’s the plan for next year anyway!
Hello all, especially the CO and WI folks! We just picked up our 17B Escape last May… it was a 2020 that the original purchaser gave up on, to our benefit. So far we love it! Say, we are planning a BIG cross-country trip from Tehachapi, CA to DuBois, PA to see our daughter. We are planning to head through Colorado from Green River, UT to Strasbourg, CO. Any suggestions about going over the Rockies? A bit nervous about that. Chris and Carol
They are on a reservation system now. It's a beautiful canyon with a stream that "sinks' underground for 1/4 mile and comes up in a big pool with enormous trout (no fishing allowed). Worth a visit!
Well, let us know when you're coming through and we'll have lunch ready. Or plan to spend a night in beautiful Sinks Canyon State Park.
We're at Colter Bay from August 18-22. Made the reservations about 2 months ago. We were surprised that they had any spots (non-electric, non-hookup). We're getting dual solar, dual LiON batteries in our build and I have a Honda EU2000 generator so power shouldn't be an issue. Planning to carry extra H20 in the pickup with a pump to refill the 5.0 tanks if needed. We always enjoy going to Jackson Hole for a day trip or two. Would love to connect some time if you're around. If not this year, next year for sure! Accost at will!
