My 2020 21' Escape furnace quit. Fan comes on, it clicks but doesn't light and no heat. Pulled the sail switch and when I click it a faint smell of propane comes out. Makes me think sail switch is ok. Not sure of next action to take. Don't like being cold. Help!

Associate suggested that its air flow issue. Air comes in, activates sail switch, air bounces off wall of compartment, returns and deactivates switch. Engineering design flaw.
How do you take the furnace out? From inside or outsid of the trailer? The previous owner had applied some kind of sealant around the outside and I haven't been able to remove it!

Just got new sail switch from Escape (very prompt, thank you Escape!) but as I suspected furnace still doesn't work. What other options do I have? Can I take the furnace out relatively easily? Can I replace the striker or the board or does it have to go to a dealer? Appreciate input.
