I have a 5.0 TA with two Lithium Batteries, Inverter, and GoPower Solar Controller. In the process of trying t6 understand and monitor my battery usage my GoPower Solar Controller only shows 1 battery that it is hooked up to the controller. I follow the steps on Page 15 (attached) for setting the battery type and charging profiles, can set the profile for Battery 1, but it does not prompt me to set up the second battery.
Is this normal and are the two batteries being measured together? Or is it as the note says Escape hooked up the two batteries with reverse polarity so there is no status information for the second battery?

Since I never heard back from Escape I reached out to GoPower and they replied a response to my question. It's pretty straight forward and I wish Escape could have replied. GoPower's resonse is below.
Hi Lynn, Thnak you for your inquiry. If the batteries are connected together in parallel with a single 12 volt output the controller will only see this as one battery bank not two batteries. The controller can charge two separate batteries but the second battery needs to power different circuits like your house bank and the starter battery or a sperate battery to run your slides. Let me know if you have any questions. Regards, Bob Sincerely, Bob Lane Go Power!
