I’m a little embarrassed to ask this…if it’s advisable to keep your inverter off because it’s a drain on batteries, why does my soon to be E23 come w/3000W inverter? Thank you
Hey Gary thanks for reaching out while it will consume a bit of power in idle with no AC (Alternating current) loads, we have a remote switch above the fridge that can be toggled to off, inverter and charger only. If you want to ensure there is no idle inverter loads when connected to shore power switch to charger only. If you want to just have batteries connected switch to off. The display will show the consumption for AC, DC (Direct current) as well as power coming from shore and solar. The larger inverter will allow you to run your AC / Heat pump for a short amount of time if desired and also service more AC loads in the trailer. Hope this helps!
